Job Description

Essar Projects is the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) arm of Essar with over five decades experience of executing mega projects across various segments like Infrastructure, Hydrocarbons, Minerals & Metals, Cross-country Pipelines, Power and Renewable Energy. The core EPC capabilities of the company span across greenfield, brownfield, upstream and downstream sectors, construction projects, engineering and project management consultancy. It has a successful track record in project execution across key markets such as India, Middle East, Europe, South-East Asia, America and also some challenging geographies of Africa and Papua New Guinea.To augment our Engineering & Designing team in view of our proposed expansion and globalisation plans, we are looking for qualified and experienced professionals at Essar Constructions India Ltd Engineering Division, Surat.Major Responsibilities: To prepare and review Process Design Basis the project. To plan and schedule. project deliverables with assign work to team members. Carrying out calculations required and review during the engineering & development. Preparation of PFD, P&IDs, material, water & energy balance sheets. Preparation of equipment & instrument data sheets. Preparation of logic diagrams/Control Philosophy. Preparation of reports and manuals pertaining to projects. Process Design for Static equipment, Pressure vessels and rotary equipment. Preparation and review of Technical Specification, Technical recommendation, Technical Bid Evaluation documents for Equipment Procurement and participate / lead Vendor technical discussion Preparation and review of Technological Layout and General Arrangement drawings of Process Units. Sound knowledge of engineering workflow and inter discipline interfaces for engineering. Preparation of Detail fabrication drawings. Review of Vendor & Detail Engineering documents. Review of 3D models and providing necessary engineering inputs to update the 3D model. Review of Tender document, addendum, revision and its annexure etc. Perform interdisciplinary checks and guide draftsmen, checking of detail engineering drawings, data sheets etc. Establish deadlines for the team, manage priorities and effectively achieve the goals in fast paced environment is critical. Sound knowledge on Process Designs and Balance Calculation, Technological Layout and General Arrangement drawings of Process Units.Technical & Behavioral Skills:Hands on work experience in softwares like MS office, Auto-CAD, Smart Plan P&ID, Auto plant 3D.Team management and NurturingStrong written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of various Industry Codes and StandardsInterpersonal SkillsCustomer Focus & Negotiation SkillsTeam ManagementQualification:BE / B.Tech. in Mineral processing / Mechanical / Chemical EngineeringExperience:10 - 15 years of experience in an engineering company involved in Process design in Minerals & Metals and Non-Ferrous Projects,
