Job Description

    We are looking forward for a suitable candidate for the position of Trader - Special Situation Desk (Equity Markets)-
    • The candidate will be responsible forEvaluating strategies to be used in Special Situations Trading
    • Managing trading positions
    • The role requires a trader who is intuitive, forward thinking, analytical and focused. Discipline and attention to details are a must.
    • The candidate will be working in a small team of highly skilled researchers and traders, making this an ideal opportunity to learn from a range of different sources and backgrounds
    • The role provides an excellent opportunity to understand how the nuances of capital markets regulations can be used to create profitable trades
    • Candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating internally and externally and executing all aspects of a trade
    • Creating spreadsheets to analyse trades and their P/L potential
    • Tracking news/announcements related to ongoing trades
    • Creating and analysing datasets to create new trading strategies
    • Automating data collection and other processes
    • Over time, the candidate will be expected to take responsibility for managing trade positions from ideation to completion
