• We are seekingHSE engineersdevise safety plans, monitor practices to ensure compliance, write up safety policies and procedures, and respond to emergencies as needed.Toreview the impact an industry has on the environment and create plans to minimize or eliminate any impact on a companys surroundings.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard evaluations, and inspections to identify potential safety and environmental concerns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution
• Provide guidance and training to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and practices
• Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, metrics, and documentation for internal and external reporting purposes
• Monitor workplace conditions, equipment, and processes to identify and address potential safety hazards or environmental impacts
• Work with management to develop emergency response plans and ensure effective crisis management procedures are in place
• Coordinate with external regulatory agencies, auditors, and inspectors as required
• Develop and conduct safety and environmental awareness campaigns and training sessions
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance
• Participate in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and initiatives to minimize environmental impact
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure their compliance with HSE requirements
• Provide guidance on the selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization
• Continuously assess and improve HSE programs to enhance their effectiveness
