Purchase Manager Steel PlantJob description :Note -Candidate from Steel manufacturing background should only apply.Experience - 10 to 15 years as Purchase Manager in any Steel Plant.Company - reputed Steel manufacturing company.Complete the Raw Material Procurement process of the plantEnsure minimum stock of Coal, Iron Ore, dolomite, Pig Iron, Manganese Ore, Sponge Iron,Silico Manganese, etc. as required are kept in the Plant.Your Responsibilities :1. Identify, Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.2. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness3. Ability for nicely negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms4. Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.5. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power6. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking7. To ensure timely deliveries of ordered equipment s.8. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries9. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.10. Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.11. Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.12.
