Job Description

    1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
    2. Stock Control: Ensure that stock levels are maintained and reorder points are observed to prevent stockouts.
    3. Receiving and Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, and ensure proper storage.
    4. Order Fulfillment: Prepare and issue materials as per the requirements of various departments.
    5. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all inventory movements and ensure the inventory management system is up-to-date.
    6. Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
    7. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all materials are stored in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
    8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory status, stock levels, and other relevant metrics.
    Qualifications:
    1. Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in inventory management or logistics preferred.
    2. Experience: Previous experience in a storekeeper or inventory management role, preferably in a similar industry.
    3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    4. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
    5. Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills.
