Job Description

    Position: Manager, Business DevelopmentJob Location: Delhi Years of Experience: 2 to 7 YearsTravelling Required: Occasional Outstation TravelResponsibilities:
    1. Lead Generation & Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders - clients, potential clients, industry partners, and government agencies.
    1. Developing New Business Lines: Understanding the regulations and policies governing the Open Access solar energy market, identifying opportunities for open access projects and developing strategies to utilize these opportunities effectively for business growth. This requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure compliance with open access regulatory requirements and optimize the feasibility of projects.
    1. Oversee Contractual Frameworks and Documentation: Leading negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with commercial and industrial clients, working closely with the legal and finance departments to ensure TSILs interests are adequately protected and PPA terms are compliant with prevailing laws and regulations.
    1. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and changes within the solar energy industry, working with the construction and legal departments to ensure new projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to solar installations, permitting, and incentives.
    Candidate Profile:
    • MBA in Marketing or B. Tech Graduated
    • Strong communication skills in English
    • Effective negotiation skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Analytical mind
    • Desire to learn and grow, particularly an interest in keeping abreast of regulatory changes, technological developments and market dynamics.
    • Fully conversant with key MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Proactive approach to exploring new avenues for growth and a strategic mindset to capitalize on emerging trends in solar energy.
