Job Description

General Responsibilities:

  1. Monitors security compliance in accordance with ISMS / ISO 27001 Standards, policies and procedures.
  2. Should be aware of Industry standard best practices.
  3. Manage day-to-day IT operations effectively.
  4. Maintains records of system downtime
  5. Maintains Inventory of Hardware & Software
  6. Plan, publish training plan for system administrators and conduct monthly training sessions
  7. Maintains records of user, groups, folder rights and permissions
  8. Manages backup procedures and have the backup procedures tested periodically
  9. Stays current with technological developments in systems administration and recommends Trivent for taking advantage of new technology.
  10. Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of system & network performance.
  11. Should be able to support our USA infrastructure & USA users.
  12. Should be able to interact with Vendors from a technical stand point
Service Area Specific Responsibilities: Service AreaResponsibilities / Deliverables Network & Firewall
  1. Should Maintain Cable Diagram & Keep it updated to the changing needs.
  2. Should Maintain Architecture diagram & keep it updated to the changing needs
  3. Should be able to maintain L3 & L2 switches as to manage changing VLAN requirements
  4. Monitor network traffic and produce daily reports on web & email usage to check if acceptable usage policy is adhered
  5. Should be able to configure firewall for changing business needs
Servers
  1. Should be able monitor and manage VM Ware and storage systems as required as per changing business needs
  2. VMWare & Storage

  7. Linux & Windows Scripts
Desktop, Printers, Scanners and Bio Metric devices & VOIP DevicesShould be able to support desktop, printers, scanners, bio metric and VOIP infrastructure.IPXShould be able to manage IPX systems (Yeastar 200U)IP CameraShould be able to manager IP Camera infrastructure and ensures physical monitoring happens on daily basis.Software Support Should be able to support minimally user software such as SQL / MySQL Servers, Accounting software, Internet & Intranet applications as well desktop applications such as PDF, Office products. Minimum Qualifications
  1. B.E Computer Science or relevant degree in Computer Science.
  2. Preferably with 6 yrs. of Sr. System Administrator experience
  3. Should have experience with Fortigate or similar Firewall administration at least 2 years
  4. Should have experience with VMware ESXi 5.5 administration at least 3 years
  5. Must have Zimbra mail server administration on a Linux platform for at least 2 years
  6. Should have Windows AD & File server Experience for at least 2 years
  7. Should have Linux & Samba file server experience for at least 3 years
