Job Description

    We are hiring for FPGA Validation Engineer for a reputed organisation.Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced FPGA Validation Engineer with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in FPGA emulation platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with ARM core-based SoCs (System on Chip) and its associated peripherals, including secure boot , I2C, SPI, LIN, Flash memory, UART. This position involves validating FPGA designs to ensure functionality, and compliance with specifications.Responsibilities:
    1. Develop and execute validation plans for FPGA designs targeting ARM core-based SoCs.
    2. Collaborate with design and verification teams to understand system requirements and develop comprehensive validation strategies.
    3. Implement and maintain validation environments using FPGA emulation platforms.
    4. Design and develop test benches, test cases, and scripts for functional validation.
    5. Perform system-level validation of peripherals including secure boot, I2C, SPI, LIN, Flash memory, and UART.
    6. Analyse and debug issues found during validation and work closely with design and verification teams to resolve them.
    7. Document validation procedures, test results, and validation reports.
    Requirements:
    1. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Masters degree preferred.(Exp. 6 8 years)
    2. Proficiency in FPGA verification methodologies.
    3. Hands-on experience with FPGA emulation platforms and tools.
    4. Strong understanding of SoC architectures, including peripherals such as secure boot ROM, I2C, SPI, LIN, Flash memory, and UART, bring up.
    5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    1. Experience with formal verification techniques.
    2. Familiarity with industry standards and protocols related to SoC validation.
    3. Experience in scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, or Python for test automation will be an added advantage.
